Material archive
Each material behaves differently in light and in the hand. The swatches show how the surface catches light, the same way it will on your shoe.
Box Calf
Fine-grain calfskin with a firm, polished hand. The reference material for the house.
- Texture
- Tight, even grain with a low satin sheen that deepens with polish.
- In light
- Takes a mirror shine over time; scuffs blend away with cream.
- Care
- Brush after wear, cream monthly, rest a day between wears with cedar trees.
- Specification
- Vegetable and chrome combination tannage.

Nappa
A soft, fully dyed leather with almost no visible grain and a supple drape.
- Texture
- Smooth and pillowy. The surface reads as one continuous, quiet plane.
- In light
- Soft, low sheen; creases into fine, gentle lines rather than sharp folds.
- Care
- Wipe with a dry cloth, condition sparingly. Avoid over-polishing.
- Specification
- Aniline-dyed, through-coloured hide.
- Price
- +₦45,000
Suede
Reverse calf with a soft, directional nap that shifts tone as you brush it.
- Texture
- Fine velvety nap. Brushing one way lightens it; the other darkens it.
- In light
- Completely matte. No reflection; the nap absorbs light and looks deeper.
- Care
- Brush with a crepe brush, protect with spray, keep out of standing water.
- Specification
- Reverse-side calf, buffed by hand.
- Price
- +₦60,000
Nubuck
Top-grain leather buffed to a fine, dry, slightly chalky surface.
- Texture
- Finer and tighter than suede, with a dry, almost powdery feel.
- In light
- Matte with a soft bloom; darker where it is rubbed or handled.
- Care
- Brush gently, use a nubuck eraser on marks, protect before first wear.
- Specification
- Top-grain calf, lightly sanded.
- Price
- +₦70,000
Patent
Calf sealed under a high-gloss coating. A hard, mirror-like surface.
- Texture
- Glassy and unyielding, with a sharp, cold highlight.
- In light
- Strong specular reflection; shows every light source as a crisp streak.
- Care
- Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid folding in heat; patent can crack in the cold.
- Specification
- Polyurethane-sealed calf.
- Price
- +₦85,000
Scale-Embossed Calf
Calf pressed with a structured scale pattern. A textural alternative to exotic skins.
- Texture
- Regular, tessellated scales you can read with a thumb.
- In light
- Each scale catches light on its upper edge, giving depth without gloss.
- Care
- Brush along the scale, cream lightly. Embossed leather is no more delicate than smooth calf.
- Specification
- Embossed calf. No exotic animal skin is used.
- Price
- +₦110,000
Microfibre Suede
A technical, animal-free microfibre with an even, matte, felted surface.
- Texture
- Uniform micro-nap with no direction; even and slightly grippy.
- In light
- Flat matte. Resists water and staining better than natural suede.
- Care
- Brush lightly, spot-clean with a damp cloth. Machine-washable is NOT recommended.
- Specification
- Synthetic microfibre.
- Price
- +₦40,000
